A new pathogenic species of Marasmiellus from Brazil

Marasmiellus colocasiae sp. nov., anatomically and morphologically distinct from other Marasmiellus species, is described from Brazil. The new species is pathogenic to taro and this is the first record of Marasmiellus on Colocasia esculenta.
