Psalistops gasci n.sp., first Barychelidae from French Guiana (Araneae, Mygalomorphae)

One species of Barychelidae, Psalistops gasci, is described from French Guiana. This is the first record of this mygalomorph family from this neotropical country. The species is a ground dweller occurring in wet tropical forests.
