Copepoda (Crustacea) from rain forest litter in Kivu (Zaire)

Harpacticoid and cyclopoid copepods were collected in leaf litter from the rain forest in Irangi, Zaire near Lake Kivu,. Two new species Echinocamptus hypophyllus n. sp. and Elaphoidella propedamasi n. sp. are described. Bryocyclops (Bryocyclops) phyllopus Kiefer, 1935, a muscicolous cyclopid, previously known from Kenya and Ethiopia, is newly recorded from Zaire.
