Additional observations on Xerosicyos pubescens (Cucurbitaceae) in Madagascar

The yet unknown female plants of the big caudiform Cucurbitaceae Xerosicyos pubescens of which M. Keraudren published only male plants, has been found in several localities of SE Madagascar. Structure of the flowers and fruits and ontogenesis of the plant are now described.
